Collaboration Frameworks For Real World Application - From Planning To Action

Tackle your own complex challenge through our Action Learning Program with hands-on support from Practice Masters.

What complex challenge do you need or want to take-on? The Action Learning Program (ALP) will help you think through and develop a comprehensive plan to respond to your particular wicked problem for each of the eight Challenge Dialogue steps.

In the ALP, you’ll access a collaboration framework that helps you think-through a complete Challenge Dialogue and co-create a Process Planning Memo (PPM). The ALP can be done in one of 3 ways:

  1. As an individual learner with an imminent Challenge Dialogue in mind, you work with a small Organizing Team for your specific Challenge Dialogue and co-create a full draft of the PPM.

  2. As an individual learner who does not have a specific Challenge Dialogue in mind, you can, with permission, work with learner and Organizing Team in situation #1.

  3. As two or more individual learners who do not have a specific Challenge Dialogue, but collaborate on a complex challenge of shared interest and think through an entire envisioned Challenge Dialogue to address your complex challenge and develop a full draft PPM.

The ALP is a prerequisite for learners who wish to become an Accredited CDS Practitioner.

How do you get your biggest questions answered, especially when you have a limited capacity towards facilitated discussions? The CDS Action Learning Program not only gave us the collaboration framework to reach out to some of the best minds to help us with our challenge, it provided us (the Champions) with the skills and tools to apply the knowledge with other really big questions. This world-class consultative process moved us quickly from discussion to action while ensuring succession within the process.
